Technologies We Use
LoadMan's C56 loadcell uses a unique capability that automatically compensates for the change in moment when the center of gravity changes.So what does that mean to you? Superior, Consistent, and Repeatable Accuracy. Competitors loadcells have issues when the center of gravity changes, causing a change in the moment. A change in the moment causes large errors in weight readings.
LoadMan C56 loadcells are built using 4340 alloy steel plate. After machining, the loadcell is heat treated to RC40 specification; providing 180,000psi strength. Each loadcell has approximately 8,000 lbs dynamic capacity (3628 kg). Two loadcells are used per FEL system, providing a combined 16,000 lbs dynamic capacity (7257 kg).
Forks and front plates are made from A514 alloy steel at roughly 110,000psi. All forks are dove-tailed to the front plate. This dove tail receives a full pend-weld that has a fish plate with plug welds over the outside of the forks. This provides a single-part solid fork.
Warranty: Twenty-four month loadcell electronics from the date of installation. Also, new loadcells are warranted from physical breakage for a period of 60 months from the date of installation.
LoadMan LM300 Scale Meter
The LM300 Meter is a single box computer using proprietary micro-code to determine the exact weight of a load typically within 1%. The computer collects 100 weight samples per second. These samples are then processed with sophisticated analog load and angle curves that reside within the weighing firmware; ultimately providing a single digital load weight. These proprietary load/angle curves were developed over 15 years ago and are continuously refined as new revisions of load and angle sensors are updated with the newest technology.
The LoadMan system is completely automatic and the driver/operator does not have to press any buttons or take any actions to obtain a weight reading. Using the LoadMan LM300 Route Assistant, the 16 character display provides all the information needed to understand the status of the weighing system. For example, the meter automatically provides simple instruction displays, providing the operator feedback during the weigh-in-motion process.
LoadMan LM400 Route Assistant
LoadMan’s LM400 On-Board Computer with Route Assistant brings a modern color touch-screen graphical user interface with an intuitive driver interface. The screen is one of select few in the industry that can withstand an extreme temperature range from 60°C (140° F) to -40°C (-40° F).

Warranty: Creative Microsystems Inc. (CMI) warrants to the original purchaser of new LoadMan® products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 24 months for electronics.
