Technologies We Use

Loadcells

LoadMan loadcells use a patented technique that measures the weight and bending forces in the exact center of the steel. Other's loadcells cannot. So what does that mean to you? Superior, Consistent, and Repeatable Accuracy.

LoadMan patented Axial Beam loadcells measure shear forces in the loadcells. The loadcells are designed and engineered for logging trucks for dual placement on each axle under the bunk. Typical applications would be a 4-point system, depending on overall length of the truck. Longer trucks would utilize a 6-point loadcell scale system. LoadMan systems are designed to measure "primary load"; therefore the entire weight is carried by the loadcells.

The LoadMan logging truck loadcells are built using 4340 alloy steel plate. After machining, the loadcell is heat treated to RC40 specifications; providing 180,000psi strength. Each loadcell is also Cadmium plated to resist heavy corrosion from weather and road chemicals. Each loadcell is rated at 33,000lb dynamic capacity (14,968 kg). Loadcell accuracy is typically within 2% (at least 98% accuracy).

LoadMan LM300 Scale Meter

The LM300 Meter is a single box in-cab computer using proprietary micro-code to determine the exact weight of a load typically within 1%-2%. The LoadMan scale system is completely automatic and the operator does not have to press any buttons or take any actions to obtain a weight reading on a 16 character LCD display.
