Web design companyFor years, public works engineers in towns, cities, states and provinces have trusted LoadMan to help manage ever tightening budgets. Not only do LoadMan on-board scales provide the load data at the time needed – NOW – but when combined with LoadMan Fleet Management Software, your management offices can keep track of where your trucks and equipment's located; where material stockpiles are located; and know exactly how much material there is on a load, in a material holding yard, or in transport.
Waste & Recycling
LoadMan® On-Board Front Loader Weigh-In-Motion Systems for the Municipal Waste & Recycling are highly accurate and durable. And best of all, our scales can weigh dynamically –– in other words, on the fly – eliminating the STOP & WAIT method used by most other front loader scales.
Onboard computers and sensors determine the fork angle, arm angle, velocity, and acceleration throughout the entire lifting cycle to provide a highly accurate in-motion weight. LoadMan weighs the loaded container going up then re-weighs the empty container coming down, providing the net content weight without stopping the forks – eliminating that wasteful wait for the load to be weighed.
LoadMan knows that the driver has a lot to think about, so we won't get in the way or distract. The weighing process is seamless with LoadMan's in-cab display providing the weight of each load, and even informs the operator with important customer, service and route information.
With LoadMan's Fleet Manager Software, the entire route can be managed and tracked from the back office. And when you combine GPS with integrated Google Mapping, LoadMan can recognize customers and accounts based on the truck's location.
Just Bolt-it-On - LoadMan Front Loader systems can be easily bolted-on and installed in only a few hours. We've designed our bolt-on forks to the specifications of your truck's original equipment manufacturer. LoadMan will fit perfectly on McNeilus, Heil, Leach and Labrie.
You have a Roll-Off or Rear Loader? No Problem. LoadMan offers simple and proven solutions for both.
Bulk Hauling
LoadMan was the first company in North America to successfully design working scales for dump trucks. And LoadMan now has on-board scale systems for a wide variety of bulk hauling applications – including dump trucks, pup trailers, frameless & standard end dumps, and side dumps.
We offer all the products you'll need to build your on-board weighing system. Start with hydraulic pressure sensors, hinge pin and/or hoist pin load cells, and trunnion axle load cells. Add in our LoadMan LoadCoders that convert the analog signals to a pure digital signal. Then combine our multi-function cab-mounted display and you have a powerhouse system that allows you to weigh when you need it – NOW. Plus, our multifunctional LoadMan display can report individual load weights while also reporting accumulated load weights.
Vacuum Trucks
LoadMan® provides proven technology to monitor the payload weight of vacuum trucks. We understand that vacuum trucks have special criteria that must be followed while these vehicles are in operation. A vacuum truck with a full tank of gas and a driver – before taking on any potable water – typically weighs about 38,000 pounds (tare weight). In most states in the US and provinces in Canada, a three axle vacuum truck total gross legal weight is 54,000 pounds. This allows a typical payload rating of only 16,000 pounds – and this must include any potable water along with any material collected in the debris/muck tank.
Why take the chance for overloading when LoadMan provides such a simple solution?
LoadMan is proud to have met the stringent and exacting product specifications required by the US Department of Defense. Our LoadMan on-board scales have been installed on hundreds of the US Army's Family of Tactical Vehicles (FMTV), and we continue to supply systems as the Army deploys additional truck fleets to Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere.
